Back-to-school ABA support

A school transition becomes more manageable when routines are visible and difficult steps are practiced.

Get Started

Turn the school day into teachable steps

List the parts of the day that are new or difficult: waking earlier, dressing, carrying materials, transportation, arrival, classroom transitions, lunch, dismissal, homework, and bedtime.

Show the routine

Create a short visual or written sequence.

Rehearse difficult moments

Practice waiting, leaving a preferred activity, and asking for help.

Reinforce completion

Recognize effort immediately and specifically.
